The public programming of the Galerie de l’UQAM consists entirely of contemporary art and plays a fundamental role in the artistic community and the Montreal region. It emphasizes the democratization of artistic forms and reveals the complexities of the world of creativity, as well as offering a wide audience a program involving respected participants in roundtables, lectures and guided tours.
The activities in this program are recurrent and aimed at the general public as well as the academic and artistic communities. All of our exhibitions are accompanied by lectures by the featured artist or artists, often in collaboration with UQAM’s École des arts visuels et médiatiques.
